Welcome to Ritual Collaboration, a platform created to support Community Seed in organizing and coordinating seasonal rituals and community gatherings. By using this platform, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Platform Purpose

Ritual Collaboration is a project management and coordination tool for Community Seed participants. The platform helps organize seasonal rituals through collaborative planning, messaging, file sharing, budgeting, and event coordination.

This platform is intended for active participants in Community Seed's seasonal rituals and related activities. Access is by invitation only.

2. Community Guidelines

Community Seed is built on principles of mutual respect, collaboration, and sacred space. We ask all platform users to:

• Be respectful: Treat all participants with kindness and dignity. Disagreements may arise, but they should be handled with grace and consideration.
• Collaborate in good faith: The platform exists to help us work together effectively. Contribute constructively to planning and discussions.
• Honor confidentiality: Information shared within projects may be personal or sensitive. Respect the privacy of fellow participants.
• Maintain sacred space: Our rituals and gatherings are sacred to many participants. Approach the platform with the same reverence you would bring to our in-person events.

3. Unacceptable Behavior

The following behaviors are not acceptable on this platform:

• Harassment or abuse: Any form of harassment, bullying, intimidation, or abusive language is prohibited. This includes but is not limited to the behaviors outlined in Community Seed's Sexual Harassment Policy.
• Hate speech or discrimination: Language or behavior that demeans, discriminates against, or promotes hatred toward individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic.
• Disruptive behavior: Deliberate disruption of collaborative work, spam, trolling, or any conduct that interferes with others' ability to use the platform.
• Misuse of the platform: Using the platform for purposes other than Community Seed ritual coordination, including commercial solicitation or activities unrelated to our community.
• Privacy violations: Sharing others' personal information (phone numbers, addresses, private communications) without explicit consent.

4. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying administrators if you suspect unauthorized access
• Providing accurate contact information (email, phone if opting into SMS)
• Keeping your profile information current

5. Content You Share

When you post messages, upload files, or share links on the platform:

• You retain ownership of your content
• You grant Community Seed permission to display your content within the platform for the purpose of ritual coordination
• You confirm that you have the right to share any content you upload
• You agree not to share copyrighted material unless you have permission
• You understand that content is visible to other participants in your projects

6. Enforcement & Account Suspension

Platform administrators have the authority to:

• Remove content that violates these terms
• Temporarily suspend accounts pending investigation of reported behavior
• Permanently remove access for users who engage in unacceptable behavior
• Take any action necessary to maintain a safe, respectful environment

Enforcement decisions will be made thoughtfully and in consultation with Community Seed leadership when appropriate. Our goal is always restoration and repair when possible, but we will not hesitate to protect the community from harmful behavior.

7. Privacy & Data

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Key points:

• We do not sell or share your data with third parties
• We do not use your information for marketing
• SMS notifications require explicit opt-in (see our SMS Opt-In Policy)
• You can request deletion of your account and data at any time

8. Platform Availability

We strive to keep the platform available and functioning smoothly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The platform may be unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance or updates
• Technical difficulties or server issues
• Circumstances beyond our control

We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime when possible.

9. Limitation of Liability

This platform is provided "as is" to support Community Seed's activities. To the extent permitted by law:

• Community Seed is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform
• We are not responsible for content posted by users
• We are not liable for data loss, though we make reasonable efforts to prevent it
• You use the platform at your own risk

This is a volunteer-run platform for a community organization, not a commercial service. We do our best to maintain it well, but we cannot provide warranties or guarantees typical of paid services.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service occasionally to reflect changes in the platform, legal requirements, or community needs. We will notify active users of material changes via email or platform announcement.

Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the platform at any time. You may request deletion of your account by contacting an administrator or emailing us.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or pose a risk to the community.

12. Dispute Resolution

If you have concerns about the platform, other users, or enforcement decisions, please:

1. First, try to resolve the issue directly with the parties involved when appropriate
2. If unresolved, contact a platform administrator through the platform or via email
3. For serious concerns, contact Community Seed leadership

We are committed to addressing concerns fairly and in alignment with Community Seed's values.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
